Add Facebook comment box to Blog Site

HA! For a matter of so many weeks of Trial and Error, finally the formula that I borrowed in adding Facebook comment box to my blog became successful. Honestly, it was a tough task for me. I tried different procedures that I got from “how to websites” and tutorial videos but I failed. Truly, there are 101 ways to solve a problem as my professor in Integral Calculus kept on quoting.

The fact that God answered prayers; it made me more eager to tried it several times for I know that my work "if" I offered to God will not be in vain. Amen! As of this writing I was reminded about the verse in Colossians 3:23 that I posted in my Facebook wall few hours earlier before I started installing again FB comment box in my blog.

Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men

So without further ado, let me show you how I do this in five (5) quick easy steps:

1. Log in to your blogger account:

2. Go to Design > Edit HTML > Click on Expand Widget Template.

3. Find the following code by pressing Ctrl+F.

<iframe allowtransparency='true' class='blogger-iframe-colorize blogger-comment-from-post' frameborder='0' height='410' id='comment-editor' name='comment-editor' src='' width='100%'/>

4. The iframe code above denotes the code that is showing the comment box in your blog spot.

 If you like your blog to have a FB comment box only you can delete the iframe code and replaced it with the code as shown below:

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;item&quot;'>

<hr/>Post a Comment
<div id='fb-root'/><script src='http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1'/><fb:comments expr:href='data:post.url' num_posts='5' width='550'/>
</b:if>

In my case, I opted to maintain my blog original comment box plus the FB comment box.

5. Save the blogger/website template. Done with it and you can now enjoy your FB comment box and post lot's of comment on it.

                    1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain
